if you need a good font organizer, try TheFontThing. i got it off of download.com. i put my fonts in 1 big folder, then subfolders ie: serif,sans,script,futurama,etc. TheFontThing will then allow you to browse the folders and see what they look like. you can then install them in your fonts control panel. that way, you don't have to have hundreds of fonts already installed.
