SunTrust Racing is out, again, suspension failure. A right rear upright if I heard correctly.

Amazing after six hours, it was still that close. If we can only solve the American sports car issue, and get car counts up, sports car races would be must see TV once again.

I expect Indy to have a huge field. However thats something i've noticed, Grand Am and ALMS seem to have low counts except for the 12, 24 and petit Le Mans. Maybe if they worked with each other as well as SCCA they could get a GT class with more cross over. Would be cool to see some SCCA pro and club GT guys running Grand Am and ALMS events and would boost the car counts.

Wasn't ALMS and Grand-Am one in the same abotu 12 or 13 years ago? Like when the same cars that ran the Rolex 24 would run the 24 Hours of LeMans?

GrandAm didn't exist in the 90s and the IMSA handled Sebring and Daytona.

GrandAm and ALMS don't play nice. Sorta along the lines of TORC and LOORS.
