    Why did the #3 not come in and top of with gas? He had nothing to lose.

    He was still on the lead lap, no need for a wave around. The #54 was in the same situation, he topped off and came back out 2nd.

    I think the #3 (1) could go the rest of the way and (2) wanted to inherit the lead.

    TRD reliability has dropped the last two seasons. I wonder what the main issue is.
