Elevation Sim Racing (open race tonight 6/23)

Elevation Sim Racing, a new road racing iRacing league, will host an exhibition race at Road America as we prepare for our summer racing series. An hour long practice will start at 9:30 pm Eastern before a 10 minute open qualifying session and then a 50 minute timed race. The car will be the Daytona Prototype. It will be fixed setups so that we can focus on driving the car and having fun rather than building a setup or searching for one before the race.

Our hopes are to be in position to launch the season on July 7th at Watkins Glen and then we'll run every other weekend for six races in our inaugural season. The Riley DP will be the starting car for this season. Our hope is that if it becomes popular enough that we can add a GT-style class to the field for the fall series.

Signups should officially be open at some point this week, but until then, check out what we've finalized at our site and make plans to join us tonight or next week as we'll have another open race, probably at the Daytona road course.
