Apple continues to try to be the monopoly.....
Guess if you can't beat them, sue them. Apple has been getting whooped by Android phone sales for a while, and now that Samsung is becoming huge they are a big target.

This isn't really anything new. Everybody is suing everybody.

If they infringed on the patent laws then they have the right to sue. I see nothing wrong with this. It's a business. You do what you can to be (and continue to be in Apple's case) the best.

If your competitors were making business off of something that you originally brought to the table, wouldn't you be a little peeved?
Not even taking patents into the question, Apple could sue Samsung sheerly off of the fact that their interface looks painstakingly identical to iOS in many respects. What the article fails to mention is that Apple is trying to block sales due to S Voice being a direct rip-off of Siri.

With that logic Samsung should sue Apple for making a phone. It looks and functions similar to every other phone out there.

I'm surprised Samsung even wants to copy voice commands. Siri is very underwhelming, and it's going to take something completely earth-shattering to make human-like voice commands effective on a phone. Samsung trying to catch up to Apple (which likely tried to catch up to Android's basic voice commands) isn't going to make this feature any better.

Seems silly to me...
But so does the iPhone lol.

It's like saying the Ford Mustang beats the Ferrari 458 Italia in sales. Yes, they're both powerful cars, but they're on entirely different ends of the spectrum.

Yes now everyone is chained to a phone that talks back to them even when it has no idea what they said, regardless, Blackberry came first.
Maybe its me but i just find any of the features of an iphone to be proverbial fat, it tried to do alot of things but does not really do any of them well, the camera is sub par, the phone is well not good at being a phone, the browser does not work well on anything but wifi.
I've not played with the Android but i suspect its all about the same. The designers have to do so much compromise that it does not do anything well, which is why i'm perfectly fine with having a separate phone, camera and mp3 player, same price as an iPhone and the pictures i get are better and the phone and mp3 player together are smaller than an iphone.
Also Siri is a joke right?

I'm still rocking my 3GS. iPhones have everything I need and I love the interface. I've tried others and they're just not for me. Once I end up breaking this one I'll probably buy another iPhone.
For me all this crap with companies suing each other is like a group of kids on a playground arguing over who thought of something first. I would never let anything like that decide which phone I use.

I find it funny they are suing that one phone looks like there phone. Only so many things that one can change about a phone.
I dislike everything about Apple anyways, everything they sell is over priced for what you get.

Never had a dropped call or clarity issue on my iPhone 3G, 3GS, or 4.

Never use WiFi on my phone and continuously run the browser all day, everyday with zero issues and great speeds.

Browser speed is dependant on the signal and network. It's sure faster than most Android browsers that like to stutter halfway in between a pinch.
Subpar camera?

I hate to start an argument, but if you are going to say this and that about how much something "sucks", then back it up in some form or fashion. I don't stand behind Apple blindly, but some people do it on both sides of the fence, it seems.
And if you just hate whatever's popular, then here's a nice pair of Ray-Bans for you.

The iPhone's camera is better than 60% of the digital cameras that are on the market for $200 or more.

We had this camera discussion on another forum I go to sometimes. Android doesn't even begin to compare to an iPhone. There were guys at concerts, car shows, together and posted the same picture with two different phones and the difference was very noticeable. I too, have never had a problem with calls and/or browsing. Browsing is way improved over what I had on my Droid. I have traveled through many states and most of the east coast into the mid-west with my phone for work, and never had any problems anywhere. (Unless it's somewhere acceptable where no one has cell service.)
From a guy who has owned both, I will never go back to an Android phone after having an iPhone. Either Apple will have to do something ridiculously wrong, or an Android phone will have the capability to safely teleport you to any location you wish via Google maps to make me switch back.
Everyone has their preference though. I don't care what phone anyone has, as long as I'm happy with mine.
