I don't think I could go back, though. Absolutely love the G27 and my Obutto.
I love how we drove the same cars, had the same wheels in the same order, and both have an Obutto.

Like I said, it's a personal preference.
I need decent FF to read how the car is reacting, I tried going without it and it just didn't feel.. natural.
I can feel the car slipping in the wheel quicker than I can see/hear it, that's the main reason I've never switched.

EXACTLY. I need to able to feel the steering wheel get light in mu hands. If you think about it.. real cars technically do have FF.

Tire Carrier
I picked up around a tenth switching from FF to centering spring. The FF on iRacing is so unrealistic compared to real life that there is really nothing to gain. It took some getting used to but it's faster.

Same here, I used to use it in Nr2k3 all the time, then I believe I had to do a reinstall of the game and never set FF back up.

Completely off topic, but I also have a basic Iracing question:
What exactly is Iracing 2.0?

Just an update/overhaul to what they had before to make it better.

It was a big build-up to what was suppose to be a major turning point in their game. When actually they put the new tire model on a few cars at first and now are catching up to all cars. At the time we all laughed our asses off about it because it was ... meh .
