Any word on whether they've increased the difficulty in this game?

Yes, and you can actually see it in the video there. The AI are much harder to beat on "Very Hard" than on last year's game.

I personally feel they should have the previous year's champ as the cover athlete.
But this is cool what they're doing this year instead of some random draw.

I actually like that it actually says that on the car, instead of a Miller-stylized "Brad"

I would of used a combination of Penskes IndyCar sponsors for it instead.

Chase Contender
Absolutely loving the roof-camera 3 laps in! That's probably the only camera view I'll be using. I still hate how much the car rotates in the chase view for the first 2 laps.

I would've loved to see Discount Tire on it personally, but Penske opted to market the alternate kids scheme, which is understandable...

Yeah, I used to use the far chase on almost every racing game, but since they went to the "rotating" style I just can't stand it. I normally race on the hood view now, and it seems to be the best for my driving style.

Jimmie Johnson on the cover for five years in a row?

I havent looked much into this after writing them right after the release of NTG2011.
Basically from my reading they deffinitly listened to the fans, I offered over 50 ways to make the game better and a large majority of them involved a careet mode.
1 feature I want in the worst way is something similar to EAs Thunder 03s owner/career mode where you had to build your team over the course of some seasons etc.
Start your team, be a go or go home team etc must qualify, I just want some realism, in the foundation. I want to make my own Furniture Row, and earn sponsorship etc, I know some think I'm crazy but I want the game experience to be as real as possible on as many aspects as possible. I personally would love to have to fight for week to week sponors and have to grow the team from nothing to greatness. Easy Medium Hard settings would only effect the starting dollars as this setting would only race on the hardest setting

I think what I want would have to wait for PC versions because I really have a high standard of quality for what I want out of todays games. Given the insight todays world can give I really think these games could offer so much in depth while not completely overwhelming the players real life commitments
