    Lightbulb Nascar Flips 1941-present

After Jr's wild flip today I've compiled this list (with the help of many) of flips from Nascar's top 3 series from 1941 on. My primary source was Youtube so If i missed one or have a year wrong please let me know.

Disclaimer: Flips provide some of the most spectacular moments in racing and this is what lead me to do this, not because i like to see cars get destroyed or drivers and or fans get injured.

    Cool.

but I wouldn't consider Skinner's wreck last year at Lowes to be a flip. To me the roof has to be the lowest part of the car to be considered upside down. But if that one counts, then Robby Gordon's at Rockingham in the same race as Carl Long's should count also.

LOVE this thread, I wanted to start a list like this a while ago and see who has flipped most in their career (i think micheal waltrip and elliott sadler are pretty high on the list).

Here is one you don't have from 2000, elliott Sadler flippin at Michigan:

If you went back to 1999 you would get Steve Park's and Ken Schrader's flips at Sears Point.

The Kenny Irwin one is iffy since it was a fatal crash. I also think we should sticky this and make it a Flip list for ALL of Nascar since it's begining, that way it's an active list, we get introduced to wrecks we've never seen and it won't let the thread fade off for a long time

If you go back further, you'd get Dale Jr.'s 1996/97? Daytona Busch Grand National Series flip at Daytona.

Just because it was fatal doesn't change the fact he ended up on his roof.

Thanks. Didn't really know cause I was born in 96 and didn't watch NASCAR until the 2001 Daytona 500. All thanks to the Man in Black and his son.
