You took one look in the mirror, got scared and spun :P
When I realized I was too loose to flat out pass you I just waited. I knew all that drifting would bite you in the end

Re: iRacing Chat
So I've been debating with myself. I have just over $17 in iR dollars, a Class D license with a 3.51 SR, and a 3 month subscription that ends on 11-1-09, and I ask myself, do I put the iR dollar balance towards another month, or do I get the trucks, and just not have the tracks except for Lowe's? All this could get thrown out the window if I can sell my TSW for my asking price, but for now, I'm here.
Any thoughts?

I will say the trucks are a bit of a handful compared to NR2003
Just save the money and run a full season in the LMs. No offense Batty, but after two weeks of racing, you're not ready for that kind of racing yet. It may seem easy right now, but you're only running in like 1200 SOF races. The winner in your last race's best lap is the avg time that Christian and I were running (at least until I wrecked). The higher SOF races you run, the worse you finish. Take some time to brush up on your skills before you jump into the big boys.
I was happy as hell to keep pace with the leaders in a 3047 SOF race earlier today. I could barely keep pace in a 2000 SOF a few weeks back

Re: iRacing Chat
I would avoid getting the trucks until you have more tracks. Lowes is fun but it's a mini Daytona with a lot of wrecks. Plus the trucks are a real handful when you first get into them, especially at cookie cutters.
I would take another run at the latemodel season. The races are usually good, clean, and fun and don't last too long. I have everything up to the Nationwide car and the latemodels are still my primary series.

Thanks guys! And I'll save my money(or at least get another track on the LM schedule, as I still don't have them all). Oh, and Phat, I've only been racing iR for 1 week, lol.

I've got my pro license in the oval side of things, and the LM is still one of my favorite cars.

I've been kicking an the SK and Late Model this week. Only been wrecked twice by 2 guys in my club which was awesome.

Re: iRacing Chat
I love the late models and SK's. I am gonna try and race the trucks next week at lowes. Been doing some testing with the truck. It indeed is way different than N2003 but it's a nice challenge.

you can pass, you just have to have balls of steel and set them up properly to do it. I worked my way up from fourth to the lead at one point.
It's not easy, and scary at times, but it can be done

Yesterday, I ran from 14th to 3rd when I stalled out on the top by myself. No help at all. Ran the top the last 5 laps in my race yesterday by myself. If 2nd would of pulled out he would of won cause I would of pushed him, but no help at all.

Re: iRacing Chat
WTH is wrong with these idiots in the trucks? I have been wrecked in all my races except 2 this week, and lost a ton of SR. I swear these guys let their kids drive just for kicks.

Just people can't judge stuff right. Yesterday, a guy hit the wall, came back down, I hooked him in the lr and knocked him sideways along with me.

I haven't bought Daytona, just for that reason. The Dega Nationwide races went pretty good last season but my computer couldn't handle it.

Phat, I'll get a replay file sent to you tomorrow. Ever since we ran earlier I've done nothing but lay around. Temperature is over 102 so I don't feel like doing much racing.
