2009 #66 Fictional

I painted this car before I learned that Office Depot and Jack Daniels would be moving to Haas . And I also painted this before I learned that Ryan Newman is the new top contender to move to Haas with Stewart. I had seen someone paint a Menards car here at RuRa with somewhat the same base as this, except Yellow and Black, and I loved it, so I made a version of my own on this car, I thought it came out pretty decent. (So thank you to whoever it was that painted that car, I don't really recall who it was.)

Base scheme works but, once again, they WILL NOT use that number font if they even keep the 66. I will tell you why

That number font is specifically designed to relate to the State Water Heaters sponorship. In fact its the same font.

Second, the only reason they use the #66 is because Best Buy asked him to change it to that in the 2006 season to recognize their being formed in 1966.

Looks cool. I don't see why those good sponser's would even think about leaving from winning teams to go to a team that has no wins. Carl Edwards has something like 3 wins this season I think and also in the chase along with the JD team and I think Bowyer is also in the running. I think it would be a bad business move IMO.

I used that number because I don't make #'s or Logos. And that was the best #66 I could find that was pre-made. But I do think that the # looks good on the side of the car lol

This car is completely irrelevant now though, which kind of sucks, seeing how they won't even be using the #66 or #70, and it probably won't be Truex going to the team.

Very nice car! The orange is perfect. They won't use those numbers anymore (exclusive to State Water Heaters), but they still fit the paint very nicely. Great job.
