    Any comments on this monitor?

Stupidity was meant to be painful!

you might try tiger direct or newegg, probably could get one for a little bit cheaper. But I'd buy that one.

I believe that's the same monitor for $20 less.

    Good choice, Gib.

i have a 19' acer widescreen as a secondary monitor and i really like it overal. good picture, from the reviews i've read on newegg acer seems to be overal a good brand. not as known as samsung, dell, or viewsonic, but quailty pretty much just the same. if you buy it online you'll pay less than if you were to buy it at a bestbuy, even with shipping. newegg is awesome. i got mine (as well as 99% of my other computer stuff) from newegg.

also i've noticed overtime, as i've used the monitor and broken it in a little, image quality has gotten better than when i first opened it. also no deadpixels or anything that can happen with lcd's, very minimal backlight bleed, black levels are good. doesn't have great dvd quality though, but then again that could be because i sit about 3-4 feet away. quality gets better as i back away.

The one at Newegg is a different monitor. I don't want built in speakers and it has them built in. Also the contrast ratio isn't as good.
