That would look like a Christmas-mobile.

Thanks again guys — and thanks Phat, that means a lot.
Josh, I would have but we can no longer use a neon colour for the 1st stroke around the numbers if the number fills are white. We did this...

Switched roof number to black and reversed door number outline colours for easier number visibility.

Is that the best paint scheme?

The number itself has very little negative space, which may exaggerate it's actual size.

The new smaller contingencies look a bit odd, but I suppose it will leave more room for the schemes, which is great.

Good point, but sometimes the other way can look fast and aggressive, too. The Roush and RCR cars pull this off quite well. Or like the Puma logo on a car — leaping forward.

I think a new spot for those could be on the back of the spoiler. I was thinking below the taillights, but that could compete with the sponsor logo a little bit.

It's pretty simple, all of their car numbers for 2013, with the exception of Junior's driver side, are skewed the same direction.
-
You misunderstood what I said. All I'm getting at is that, from what I'm seeing, they're ditching the passenger side 'leaned back' 24 and 48 numbers to match the skew direction of the rest of the...
-
Considering that the #88 and #5 are skewed forwards on the passenger side (or basically one number style), I am thinking that the #24 and #48 were changed to match this.
