  • Missing Photos Wish List

If there is another thread for this, feel free to move/merge as needed...

RuRa as a group have had some really outstanding photo finds the last few months (2006 Busch #08 Trevor Boys at Homestead, 1998 Cup #45 Jeff Ward at Phoenix, 2004 Cup #94 Derrike Cope at Darlington and all the other rare Randall Hampton images)... I thought it would be good to have a place to list some of the missing cars on each of our wish lists, so we can be aware of each other's wants and hopefully recognize them if we ever stumble across such images. Please post yours and maybe we can knock some off our lists, like we were able to do for Timecard's Last Attempt site.

Most all of the following are DNQs (at rain-outs, too... ugh) or S&Ps, hence greater difficulty to find, but I'd like to at least post them so they are known to be missing.

    Cup Series

2002 #46 Justin Bell (Watkins Glen)
    2002 #51 Morgan Shepherd (Talladega 2)

    2004 #37 Stanton Barrett (Michigan 2)
    2004 #93 Geoffrey Bodine (Phoenix 2, Homestead)

    2005 #34 Steve Portenga (Phoenix 1)
    2005 #34 Eric McClure (Kansas)
2005 #66 Hermie Sadler (Charlotte 1, Ace & TJ Show sponsorship?)

    2006 #52 Steve Portenga (Phoenix 1)
2006 #71 Jason Leffler (Phoenix 2, actual car, not the layout)
2006 #72 Dale Quarterley (Watkins Glen)

    2009 #37 Kevin Hamlin (Kansas)

Busch / Nationwide / Xfinity Series

    2006 #28 Todd Shafer (IRP)
    2006 #28 Jorge Goeters (Richmond 1)
    2006 #28 Hermie Sadler (Richmond 2)
    2006 #49 Morgan Shepherd (Homestead-Miami)

2007 #50 Brian Pannone (Phoenix 1, spun during qualifying)
2007 #52 Jamie Mosley (Kentucky, I have one partial shot with Mosley and others standing in front of the car)

    2008 #55 Brad Teague (Nashville 1, Dover 1)
    2008 #55 Scott Gaylord (Phoenix 1)

    Truck Series

2009 #7 Frank Deiny Jr (Kansas)
    2010 #89 Wayne Edwards (Daytona)
2012 #00 Clay Greenfield (Las Vegas)

Okay, so Pannone's #50... I don't have any good pics from that weekend at the track, but I have the pre-event garage shot that Jayski posted and I have the photo Barrister put up on his Facebook. I know the car had these base colors, but I don't know how many sponsor logos were actually on the car at Phoenix. I think several of the ones pictured here were changed since that race weekend.

Figured it was best to follow along with this thread. I have a few that I've still never managed to find photos of. For now I'll just focus on the 2002 Busch Series season. Here are the ones I'm looking for:

#4 Kevin Prince Chevy DNQ (Nashville II)
#04 Justin Labonte Victory Junction Gang Dodge DNQ (Atlanta, Charlotte II)
#07 Bryan Reffner Dow Corning Chevy DNQ (Homestead)
#8 Norm Benning Chevy Homestead DNQ (Homestead)
#15 Lyndon Amick Super Fresh Ford DNQ (Atlanta)
#22 Carl Long Wesco Dodge DNQ (Charlotte II)
#22 Shane Lockhart Wesco Dodge DNQ (Richmond II)
          #34 Jason White Rent-A-Wreck Ford (Nashville I)
#51 Geoffrey Bodine Miccosukee Chevy DNQ (Homestead)
#52 Ryck Sanders Ford DNQ (Kansas) (May have seen this on a hero card at one point)
#52 Cam Strader Banquet Homestyle Bakes Ford DNQ (Homestead)
#58 Martin Truex, Jr. Seawatch Chevy DNQ (Richmond II, Dover II)
#72 Jimmy Kitchens MoMoney Pawn Chevy DNQ (Phoenix)
#79 Keith Murt Murtco Chevy DNQ (Atlanta)
#86 Robby Benton Chevy (Daytona II)
#88 David Reutimann Bully Hill Vineyards Dodge (Atlanta)
#88 David Reutimann Publix Dodge (Homestead)(I have screencaps but they are pretty unhelpful)
#94 Jeff Spraker SPraker Enterprises Chevy (Daytona II)

May add more at some point but honestly any photos that would be considered pretty uncommon (nothing from CIA, LAT, Motorsport.com, older BGNRacing.com) would be much appreciated. I'm trying to help in creating more content for the nr2003 car set I made a few years back.

I thought these were posted here already, but I cannot seem to find the original poster to give them credit. Anyway, here is the #52 from Kansas

Wow! Thanks so much. Obviously I was able to get screencaps of the #94 from the race from contact with the #99 but you still couldn't quite make out all the details like you can in this photo. As far as the #52 yeah, those are the ones I remember seeing. I'm not sure whether or not we'll make the DNQ's but I might myself.

Thanks. I may have actually seen that once upon a time, but it at least gives me an idea. I don't see the nr2002 version being much different than the actual thing. This was also probably the same car he used for 2003.

WOW. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know Jayski had some images of the 64 but not up close with all the smaller sponsors, so that's great. Also noticed the #11 with Dick's Sporting Goods on the car too at the second Charlotte race.
