I loved this car. Simple & effective. Too bad AOL bailed.

Interesting number style for Charlotte II, never realized RCR ran anything other than the stylized one they had.

It was to honor the anniversary of RCR or something. All three RCR cars ran special schemes that night.
This signature is dangerous and inconvenient.

The Fall Charlotte race was to commemorate RCR's 35th Anniversary. The 30 car was honoring the '82-'83 Piedmont Airlines scheme that Ricky Rudd drove. Naturally it was car #3 back then so they created a #30 that matched the stylized 3 from that era. Harvick had the Wrangler scheme, and Robby Gordon ran the '95 Silver Select scheme.

Ah. It's too bad AOL bailed, I like some of these schemes.

The 2004 scheme was my favorite, especially the blue

Agreed, when they went to the metallic blue it became stunning.

It's funny because the previous AOL schemes were god awful.

Seen a clip just now from the 2004 Daytona 500 (the big one, this car started it) and this car had all orange dayglo numbers.

Heh, I always thought the opposite. I always loved the '02-'03 scheme and never liked this one.

The Wrangler Scheme would have worked better on this car. I like the Daytona I car alot.
