  • Removing Reflections In 3DS Max

    Hi Guys,
I have been racking my brains all morning. Spent the last couple hours trying to remove reflections in 3ds max 2012. I am trying to remove the reflection over the headlight. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jerry.

Or you can convert the scene over to Brazil which is what I did...

You need to open the Material Editor and select each of the four models Material and change the Specular Level and Glossiness, I use 50 for Specular Level and 54 for Glossiness.

Here, I converted this scene over to Brazil instead of Mental Ray. No more problems, plus has better reflections, IMO...
