Batten down the hatches and get ready for what could be the worst wind storm since the Columbus day storm from the 60's! With the ground already saturated from the past storms we could have trees down all over the city and be without power for a few days. Maybe we will get lucky but its not looking real good. KGW's website says this!

One of the most significant NW wind storms in recent history is expected.

Vader, just saw the channel 2 news and they say that we will probably not get the big winds that they thought we might get. Of course Rod Hill is a moron and I don't believe anything he says.

Thank goodness it didn't come to Seattle at the end of the game.. Josh Brown might have had problems kicking a field goal in 60 MPH winds.. :P

Yeah I saw that to. At 9:15 PM I just saw on the TV that they had a gust of 88 MPH at Lincoln City on the coast. I also saw that winds were at 38 MPH at the Hawthorne Bridge and the winds are predicted to hit us after 10 PM. Be interesting to see just what does happen tonight. Oh and I agree Rod Hill is a moron, no other news channel is saying what he is predicting including the National weather service.

I'm still waiting... LOL

Living right at the mouth of the gorge usually provides great fun! The wind/rain predictions over the past week have been less than accurate.

I love a good storm though. :roxs:
