k i just got a 360 and saw that i can stream the music from my PC to the 360 now i have a ton of music on the pc so this is great for me, now the problem is that i downlad the conncting software microsoft says to get and it trys to install but i keep gettin errors and when i try to connect the 360 to the pc it cant even see it. ive tried opening ports and nothin works..... if anyone has a 360 and knows how to fix this would be awsome!!

Actually you need Windows XP Service pack 2 minimum it says that right in the 360

You need Media Connect. I tried and tried with my old Dell and never got it to work. So I don't even think I'm going to try again.

If you can just wait for Vista, my cousin who works for M$ is running Vista at his house and you can do some crazy stuff from your PC to XBOX and XBOX to PC.

So I'd just wait for Vista.

There's your problem lol you had a Dell :P. I must say one of the worst computers I have ever used.

My solution to your problem Matt was to just upload all my songs to my nano and just leave it plugged in via the usb, not only do i get all my songs ect + my playlists, it also charges it while the 360 is on :P
