Looks great! I've always loved those Pennzoil schemes. I let my iR subscription run out yesterday, it's about time to resubscribe. :D

I'll admit, everytime I see the iRacing late models, either in screenshots or on Youtube, it makes me want to get into it. Maybe sooner or later.
Nice paint BTW, always have loved that Pennzoil car :dude:

I lol'ed at the Trojan logo on the c-pillar. Too bad iRacing is such a rip-off, it seems like a good game.

It is a good one, I just bought it about 3-4 days ago and im hooked racing online again, something i havent said since 07! Its not a total rip off...just a progression of purchases lol

It isn't a rip off. You have to pay for quality and you cannot beat iRacing. Sure there may not be many features that were in other games but when you run around the track it just seems so real. It is tough to even run other sims.

It's such a ripoff compared to that other game, that has yet to release all the 08 tracks. Hell when was the last patch for it? iRacing's was 12 weeks ago with another next week.
Sorry to hijack your thread Jory, nice car.

Not surprising that you bring a game that was never mentioned in the least into this thread.
As for the car, it's really cool. The one MAJOR thing that's missing from iRacing (that really irks me) is there's no carviewer, which IMO is a vital tool w/ painting.

I loved ASR for what it was just wanted more of a community.
They NEED a carviewer until their is one I won't paint.

Racing for Team FART, Phat?

Fleischauer Automotive Racing Technologies (FART)
by Jory Fleischauer, July 22nd, 2010 12:33 AM
Madison, WI - Starting this weekend in Indianapolis, Fleischauer Automotive Racing Technologies will be making its first start of its brief history in the Exlander Pro Series race at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Currently sponsor-less, FART will be employing patroiarch Jory Fleischauer as he attempts to gas the series on a weekly basis. Hailing from the land of cut cheese, Wisconsin, Fleischauer has been flexing his road racing muscles for much of the last year, but looks to break wind back into the oval side of racing.
There is a possibility that Fleischauer may let her rip on a few one-off races in the Vidane Superspeedway Series later this year.
More details to follow...

Not having a viewer really does suck, but it certainly doesn't limit you by any means, just have to have patience. ;)

You wouldn't have to pay for iracing if it had a carviewer anyways (prob why they dont have one). So I don't see what your big argument is over Iracing not having a viewer? Iracing IMO is the best there is, plain and simple, always updating, always getting better, with a great ratings system and now we can paint too. What more would you want?
Also, great paints Jory and Smoke. Need to get in a race with you guys soon, I've only practiced with Jory and well, he wouldn't make Finch's team that's for sure. :bigthumb:

Lol that was only the second time I drove the truck on a non-plate track.
I think I'm hanging up my helmet on the Mazda, new tranny model has ruined that car

New transmission model and a broken left wrist has pretty much ended road racing for me for the time being. :(
I was looking forward to running the Vette fixed also.

I'm gonna try the Vette, assuming it doesn't use the same tranny model as the Mazda.
I would have to completely relearn how to brake in order to run the Mazda competitively again. I worked for three seasons to get to where I felt I could win almost every race I'm in. If I run with aids on, you lose a tenth per upshift.
I understand it's realistic, but it sucks.

Because, since they have templates then a carviewer would be nice? I don't see where the "OMGG ITS THA BESTEST EVARZ URRRR JUST DUMBB" argument came in, but I never said iRacing sucked or everyone that plays it is a total n00bcake. I just think that the lack of a carviewer makes painting anything other than a plain base way too time consuming.

I'm pretty sure we were battling for 3rd place in tonight's race at Watkins Glen.

Only having to downshift a few times a lap isn't too bad. Until I run out of talent in turn 1. :(
Had fun though, hopefully I can actually remember to get into practice a bit earlier next time. Completely forgot about the race until literally it was almost too late. :P
