I know it was on here already but I can't find it. How do I make it so my windows are see thru.

Quick fix is just delete the windows, but the correct way is to apply a material to the windows that contains an alpha channel.

Then a nice specular reflection, and you're on your way.

what I do to the windows is right click on them hit properties then you can set the opacity to half....that gives the glass effect.

Jay- Dropping the opacity of the windows is always an option, however I don't think it's the best way to do it.

One example, is if you were going to port the mesh to another game...or just back into the game again, you'll need a texture assigned to the object and the opacity would be controlled by an alpha channel. The opacity in the material would not be read by a game engine.

In addition to game engines, you can do some nifty things with alpha channels. Such as having dirt layers, or what not, in different areas on the windshield.
