Madden 09 Superstar mode

This game is fun, but its so unrealistic.

I created myself as a Quarterback, ok. Ran a 6.89 in the combine, did 3 reps benching 90 pounds, and scored -1500 in the QB drill. My IQ score was 100. OK.

Draft day.

Im drafted. Wow. DRAFTED HOW! To: Detroit. In the 3rd round. Oh.......... That explains it, Matt Millen is still the virtual GM in this game. They have 4 QBs on roster already with Culpepper, Kitna, Orlovsky, and Stanton. So I'd be 5th on the depth chart, rated at a 55 to boot.

Suprise, suprise, IM STARTING in the preseason, and in my 4 starts I throw 8 picks, and 2 TDs, for 450 yards.

Guess what, Im starting in the season opener......

After 11 weeks, I lead the NFL in passing yards, but also lead in attempts (because they call no running plays...) Completions, Completion % and, you guessed it, INTS.

30 picks, 11 TDs but over 3000 passing yards. I didnt throw a TD until week 3, by then i had 11 picks. Why wasnt I benched? Well, why was I starting? lol.

btw lions went 9-7, winning the division, in a tie breaker over green bay. i threw for 72% and 4008 yards 14 tds and 42 picks. all tops in the nfl.
got bounced by washington in the 1st playoff game 17-16.

and i started in the pro bowl.

BTW, they drafted a QB in the 1st round, resigned everone, AND signed Rex Grossman. In total: 7 QB's on the roster.

I liked Superstar mode when you had to work your way up, Like the career modes in MLB 08 and NHL 09.

I cant say I hate McNabb, evetything he did for Philly over 10 years isnt easy to throw out. Its just frustrating to watch him struggle and the team. the team has too much potential to play like this. McNabb needed to be benched and I hope he got the message.

As for me, I have it on ps3, which noone seems to have lmfao.

Oh yea, the offensive line is HORRIBLE

i've got it for the ps3, but i haven't touched it really since i bought it

playing for trophies online is pretty fun, gives u something to play for.

I have it for PS3 and occasionally play a few games online a night. The delay is so hard to get used to though.
