Getting another new rig and found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3DWatching (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170182795173&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching)

My only issue was that the mobo does not have support for SLi if I ever wanted to upgrade later on in life. I have talked to a few people who basically say don't waste your time with SLi because it isn't a ton better and it would be more worth getting 1 really nice card now. What do people think? The computer i hear is decent  so I will probably get it tomorrow but want one last set of opinions.

I just priced the exact same parts in that computer on newegg...because the 2395 just seemed way a bit high. Building that exact same system on newegg came out to 1783....a difference of just a bit over 600 bucks.

As far as SLI...I would ask VADER. Also...if you can hold off for about a month...the new 9800 series will be released with a 30% increase over the 8800GTX (which I think is the same as two 8800GTX running in SLI).

Well the new 9800GTX is supposed to get released in March. From what I have read the 9800 is going to be like 3 times faster than the 8800 ultra.

I'm not doing any upgrades until the new AMD FX quad cores get released.

Too many good new things that are about to come out and I want to see the reviews and test results before I start spending that kind of money.

So for me, I will not go SLI.
