View Full Version : steering wheel problems using Vista
I have a Saitek R440 steering wheel that worked well in XP but now with my new computer running Vista I can't get the force feedback to work at the same time as my pedals. When I get the pedals to work I don't have force feedback. I've downloaded the Vista driver for the wheel but that doesn't fix the problem. Any ideas?

I sort of have a problem like that too with my Logitech Momo. As soon as I get on the track, my force feedback will cut off. I just restart the game and it works fine.
Thanks for the info, I've been going back and forth turning the wheel off once in the game and turning back on. I'm getting some things to work but not everything. Now I've got to remember exactly what I did, because once I go back out I lose everything and have to start over.
Ok, I've got it figured out now. Need to have the wheel turned off going into the game then turning it on gets the force feedback and pedals to work. But have to shift with the buttons on the wheel instead of the paddles. Best I can do with it.
