Is there a way to keep the tex size at one size without having to adjust it everytime? The default size is a little to small for me.

Desktop Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Adjust DPI

Not sure if it affects the Internet browser thing though

That effects everything on the computer, not just browsing.

Try monkeying with these settings:

Edit -> Preferences -> Fonts -> Size (pixels)

Have a scroll wheel on your mouse?

Hold Ctrl & scroll mouse wheel.

There is no way to make all websites have the same font size.
