Last week I Updated the video drivers for my 1gb gefore 8600gt. I check teh files and input all the tweaks. but my cars still look blurry, the track, crews and everything else looks fine but the cars are blurry, and when i make the car detail high medium or low, they look the same. anyone know how i can fix this?

thanks for the tweaks, but ive already used them, i did find out the problem was in my rend_dxg. When I lowered the texturesetsize, the graphics got better.

heres an update, when I go to opponent manager, player info, or edit the cars out of game they look great. When I go to drive them ingame, they look low res, low detail. I input all tweaks from the N2003 tweaks guide. What can I do to fix this?

What texture size number do you have, and how many MB is the card, what resolution and 32 bit or 16 bit settings?

I got an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 1GB

settings are:
1152x864 32 bit crank it up settings
TextureSetSize=118292480

AnisotropicLevel=0

CacheSize=14194304

MaxBlockSize=524288

texture_quality=100

other comp specs are:
2.0 GB DDR SDRAM

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.30 GHZ

40GB Internal HD (windows installed here)

600GB External HD (NR2003 installed here)

Toshiba 16x DVD-ROM SD-M1612

intergrated sound card on motehrboard.

Windows XP sp3 32 bit

According to my calculations on the texturesize it should be - 3710835818496

1024*1048576 = 1073741824 - 4608 = 1073737216 * 864 = 927712935936 * 4 = 3710835818496

That's how I came up with it, as that's how I understand the process.

Let me know if that clears it up

Set your TextureSetSize to minus 1 (-1) that should get your car graphics looking sharp.
