Right click on the desktop icon, click properties, go to the compatibility tab and then click compatibiulity mode XP Service Pack 2. Then go to the start menu and right click on command prompt, run as administrator, then type in bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff hit enter, and then restart, enjoy.

Mods could this be stickied please so the question doesn't keep coming up?

I'm having a similar problem, and I figured that rather than make a new thread, I'd post it here.

I'm dual-booting my MacBook Pro with Windows 7 Home (64-bit). When I first put NR2003 on it, the game wouldn't even start up. I got that spinning disc icon, but nothing happened. Then, I tried the no-CD patch and disabled DEP in the Command Prompt. The game started, but every time I tried to go into the race weekend, the game crashed.

Here are the specs, from Apple.com

Does anyone know if there's something about the computer or OS that won't let the game run?

I'm considering installing the 32-bit version instead; would that help?

*EDIT* Never mind, I got the game to work after all. However, the menus are pretty laggy. Does anyone know how to fix that?

*EDIT 2* I don't need any help after all; I got it working.
