C'mon guy's the advertising is starting to get out of hand.
I for 1 am getting fed-up with it.
We the staff would appreciate if y'all would refrain from
using this forum to do so.

TIA.

Staff,

I'm with you there and I completely agree. Why not offer an alternative, such as a strictly advertising forum in the "Other" category at the bottom of the page? I think it would really cut down on the amount of advertisements in the main discussion and league forums.

It would be a positive thing to do to encourage budding NR2k3 sites to grow and gain support, especially if we want sim racing in general to grow and collect a few more small-ish resource sites.

Sorry. Didn't realize it was a problem, and didn't see in the rules where it was prohibited. Just trying to help promote big events for the community.

I will keep this in mind for future reference.

P.S. I know I sound like a smart @$$ above, but that is not the intent.

Pardon me for saying this but isn't every post here an "advertisement" of some sort? I mean people that post their work for all to see is advertising of their own skills and abilities. I guess I maybe missing something, are there specific examples that you refer to?

I'm assuming Double Vision is referring to posts that are for the sole purpose of stating, "Check out my new painting site!" or "Join our new winter superspeedway series!"

I just seen that. I had made a post about an upcoming race and stuffed it in the wrong forum. I wanted to make sure it had nothing to do with that. I totally understand now.
