Update 11-10-00 - 7:00 PM - S_Gibson

Jim sent me a new copy of Albany for Legends.  He has fixed the problem with D3D.  I haven't had the opportunity to check it out, but I'm certain he has done a fine job.  Thanks Jim.  BTW I've also posted a picture of Jim on the about us page.

Looks like Dale has dropped the ball and Bobby is the new Winston Cup Champion.  Now Big E is going to have to worry about holding onto the 2nd spot.  Burton is close.  I was hoping he would reach his 8th championship this year, but he didn't take advantage of opportunities he was given.  Bobby has driven very well this year, and I'm glad to see him get his first championship.  Congrats to Bobby Labonte.

O and congrats to George Bush also.  I think I heard it best said on the radio this morning, when they said, "If the people in Florida are too dumb to follow an arrow on a ballot, we don't want them determining who will be our President for the next 4 years!"

Our league races are going well.  I manage to pick up another win at Richmond three weeks ago, after Butch had bad luck.  David was still chasing me on the lead lap though.
David took the win at our race in Charlotte.  With me managing second.  That put us each at 3 wins this season, with Bodie winning all the rest.
Two nights ago though at Dover, Oleary decided to take David out of the lead, and into the wall.  Everyone had bad luck and Bodie and Butch were the last remaining cars on the track.  The game went crazy, and instead of running the final 40 laps under caution they called the race.  Butch is credited with the win I believe. Unfortunately I had to miss this race, and all the points I lost put me back in 3rd place behind Blinky.  David may have smooth sailing with over a 100 point lead on Oleary.  David has our league info posted here.

I haven't had time to update the page over the last several weeks.  We finally closed on the house in Va.  Shortly I guess we will have to go out and buy a home here, but for the time we are content not to be homeowners.
